Deland, Florida | August 18, 2010

Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. (TTE) (OTCBB: TTEG) Based on the Joint Venture Agreement between TTE and Beijing Royal Aerospace Facilities Co., Ltd. (Royal), TTE's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Magdy Attia, is currently meeting in Beijing with Chinese mechanical and material engineering experts regarding the design and construction of the next generation prototype of the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine (DCGT) engine.

The primary goals for the meetings are to determine the materials to be used for the DCGT, the evaluation of tooling capabilities, and the compliance issues for Chinese standards of the engine. The new prototype will use natural gas as fuel source and will be manufactured in China.

The companies will equally divide the cost of development of the new prototype. Royal has applied for Chinese government funding and will also seek private support through the newly created high-tech division formed specifically for this project. TTE and Royal have also agreed on an aggressive work schedule. Based on a mutually agreed time line, the evaluation and design of the engineering prototype is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010, and the construction and testing of the newly engineered engine will be completed on or before June 30, 2011. Royal will then present the new model to the engine specialists in Beijing for final evaluation.

Michael Rouse, TTE President and CEO, stated, "We are very excited about this collaboration, and I am highly optimistic about the results our mutual efforts will produce."
